The largest Guitar Festival in Denmark. You can hear Classical, Modern, Jazz & Blues – Flamenco, Folk Music, music for everyone – young and old.
Aalborg Guitar Festival & Competitions creates through concerts, competition, workshops, music and guitar exhibits a forum to act as a source of inspiration for anyone with an interest in guitar, both as a rhythm and a classic instrument, whether you’re a professional music teacher, music fan or happy amateur. Meet new guitar friends at a concert, workshop, competition or at an exhibition.
By rhythmic meeting classic, and amateurs meeting and collaborating with professionals, a forum that breaks down boundaries is established. This facilitates the possibility of experiences and collaboration across styles and borders.

The society “Aalborg Guitar Festival & Competetions“ aims once a year to create a festival with guitar in focus. It is a festival consisting of concerts, competitions, workshops and exhibitions.
All who wish to support or participate in the above mentioned aims may be admitted as members.
A membership costs kr. 150,-.
